DVD’s, Miracles, Asia:
These are a few of my favorite things!
April 2023
By Isaiah Ziersch
On the 6th and 7th of April, we finished the professional recording of the show! This was a HUGE accomplishment. We are so very thankful to Andrew, with Pelusopix, Elijah and Josiah Kerns, Logan Anderson, and the YWAM Tampa DTS for making all of it possible. We are also super thankful to Crossroads Church for allowing us to use their beautiful sanctuary for the recording! Our hope is that, once this DVD is created, we will sell it at venues, put it on our website, and give it away as thank-you gifts. We pray it will be able to bless many people around the world for years to come!
The Tech Miracles We Saw
Thursday, we were up with Andrew and the tech teams until about 1:30 am recording material and became very aware that recording the production was no easy task. On both days of recording, we had some major tech dilemmas come up with the audio. They seemed unsolvable, but God did something amazing!
The first night, we were having lots of clipping and rustling picked up by the mics. Eli and Elijah (our tech crew for the night) worked for hours, trying to solve the issue with little success. This would mean that there would be rustling throughout the entire DVD if not fixed. This might have made a good white noise soundtrack to help with sleeping, but would hardly be a production! However, the next morning when we checked the audio again, the recordings were much better than we expected.
The same thing happened the next night for the live performance. During the performance, we had majorly loud and obnoxious feedback coming from the mics. All of the actors, the tech team, and the audience heard these shrill screeches from the microphones. Late that night, when we were listening to the audio trying to find out which parts we would need to re-record, we only found one spot. So even though there were 6 or more microphones, and there was loud feedback that everyone heard, there was hardly any feedback in the recording at all! Thank You, God! The stress levels and tech issues were very discouraging at first, but God made a way for us.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and support for this project. We hope that we can bless you all with it soon.
Leaving for Asia
This crazy week of recording was also our last week in the States. We are so blessed and excited to see what God is going to do in Asia! We are also praising God that He met our financial needs! Living Pages is currently just working on reimbursing about $1,000 of personal money back to the original owners. This is mostly because the personal money that was used to finish getting us to Asia needs to be returned and saved for things like moving, finding new jobs, finding transportation, and other upcoming trips for those on the team.
All exceeding donations that might be raised for Living Pages are starting to go towards,
drum roll please,
a tour in Wisconsin in August, as well as more performing in Florida in September!
Again, thank you so much for all of your prayers, and financial support. God’s provision through YOU is making this possible.
Encouragement!
I was told this week that there is a young girl at one of the churches we performed at who is still very influenced by the Romans show. She’s apparently been telling people that when she grows up she wants to be doing what we are doing now. Others from the most recent show have been inspired once again to dig back into Romans to see what God has to show them there.
I often forget that much of the impact of this ministry we will never see. The encouragement, hope, and motivation that God stirs in audience members happens deep in the heart, like a seed in the soil, behind doors that will one day open for the world to behold.
Many blessings,
Isaiah and Living Pages Team
